BZBGEAR Limited Product Warranty Policy

Coverage

BZBGEAR warrants that its products will meet their published specifications and be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, conditions, and service for the specified warranty periods outlined below.

If a product fails to perform as expected, BZBGEAR’s sole obligation and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy will be to either:

• Repair the defective product within a reasonable time frame.
• Replace the defective product with a new or similar product that BZBGEAR deems to offer equivalent functionality.
• Provide a refund for the depreciated value of the product in cases where it is beyond repair or no suitable replacement is available.

The choice of remedy will be at BZBGEAR’s discretion. This Limited Product Warranty applies exclusively to the original end-user purchaser (“Purchaser”) and is non-transferable to any subsequent owner.

Warranty Periods

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, as indicated on the sales receipt/invoice from BZBGEAR or an authorized distributor, dealer, or reseller. However, the warranty period will commence no later than twelve months from the original shipment date from BZBGEAR to the authorized distributor, dealer, reseller, or end-user (in the case of a direct sale from BZBGEAR).

Limited Product Warranty Terms – New Products

• Pro Line: 5-year warranty from the date of purchase for AV/Broadcasting products bought on or after August 1, 2024.
• Essential Line: 3-year warranty from the date of purchase for AV/Broadcasting products bought on or after August 1, 2024.
• Cables: Lifetime Limited Product Warranty.
• Non-BZBGEAR Products: Original Manufacturer's Warranty.

Limited Product Warranty Terms – Refurbished (B-Stock) and Discontinued Products

• 1-year warranty from the date of purchase for all Refurbished (B-Stock)/Discontinued AV/Broadcasting products bought on or after August 1, 2024.

All BZBGEAR Products Purchased Prior to August 1, 2024

• 3-year warranty (5-year warranty with registration within 90 days for PTZ Cameras).

Remedy

BZBGEAR advises end-purchasers to first reach out to the authorized distributor, dealer or reseller from whom they purchased their products. Direct contact with BZBGEAR is also an option; you can find our contact details and hours of operation on our website at www.bzbgear.com. To access warranty services, BZBGEAR requires a dated sales or delivery receipt from an authorized dealer, reseller, or end-purchaser. Additionally, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) or case number must be obtained from BZBGEAR before returning any products.

When returning products, ensure they are securely packed, ideally in the original packaging. Any returns received without a valid authorization or case number may be refused. BZBGEAR reserves the right to reject any unauthorized returns at its discretion. Exclusions

This Limited Product Warranty becomes invalid if the product's serial number label is removed or altered, or if the product is purchased through unauthorized distributors, dealers, resellers, auction websites, or other non-approved channels. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to determine the suitability of the BZBGEAR product for their intended use, and they assume all associated risks and liabilities. This warranty does not cover defects resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear,
• Battery depletion,
• Misuse or abuse of the product,
• Neglect or improper care,
• Incorrect storage, packaging, shipping, or handling,
• Accidental damage beyond BZBGEAR’s control, such as fire, storms, lightning, power surges, or water and chemical exposure,
• Unauthorized firmware modifications or incompatible interfacing,
• Operation outside the specified environmental conditions for the product,
• Improper or inadequate site preparation, installation, or maintenance by the Purchaser,
• Repairs or modifications carried out by individuals not authorized by BZBGEAR,
• Pixel burnout or image retention.

No Warranty for Third-Party Products/Services

BZBGEAR makes no guarantees and disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, regarding any third-party products or services. This includes third-party accessories, hardware, software, or firmware that may be integrated into a BZBGEAR product or resold or sublicensed by BZBGEAR. If any warranties provided by the third-party manufacturer are transferable, BZBGEAR will pass those warranties on to the Purchaser, and any claims or enforcement of such warranties will be strictly between the Purchaser and the third-party. BZBGEAR does not guarantee compatibility between BZBGEAR products and those of other manufacturers or the Purchaser's specific applications, except as explicitly stated in BZBGEAR’s published specifications, written quotations, or statements of work.

Disclaimers

This Limited Product Warranty does not guarantee that the electronic components within BZBGEAR products will remain current or compatible with other existing or future products, technologies, or systems. BZBGEAR products may eventually become outdated or incompatible with emerging technologies. BZBGEAR reserves the right, at its sole discretion, not to extend warranty coverage in situations that fall outside the normal scope of business, including but not limited to, damage resulting from natural disasters or other uncontrollable events.

Limitation on Liability

The maximum liability of BZBGEAR under this limited product warranty will not exceed the original manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of the product. To the fullest extent allowed by law, BZBGEAR shall not be held liable for any direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from a breach of warranty or any other legal theory. Please note that some jurisdictions may not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain types of damages or liability, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

Exclusive Remedy

To the fullest extent allowed by law, this limited product warranty and the remedies outlined above are exclusive and replace all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. BZBGEAR expressly disclaims any implied warranties, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law. If applicable law does not allow the disclaimer or exclusion of implied warranties, then such implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, will apply to BZBGEAR products as required by that law. If any product covered by this limited warranty is classified as a “Consumer Product” under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C.A. §2301, ET SEQ.) or other relevant legislation, the aforementioned disclaimer of implied warranties does not apply, and all implied warranties on the product, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply as mandated by applicable law.

Additional Conditions

BZBGEAR's Limited Product Warranty provides legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary based on the country or state of residence. This warranty becomes invalid if (i) the product’s serial number label has been removed or altered, or (ii) the products were not purchased from an authorized BZBGEAR dealer or reseller.
