HDMI Splitter and Switcher Provide Simple Solutions for Modest Setups

What is the difference between an HDMI splitter and switcher? A splitter “splits” a signal into multiple signals, sending it to numerous TVs at the same time. A switcher “switches” between multiple audio/video devices. We are happy to introduce two products that provide simple solutions for your modest AV setups: our 1x4 HDMI splitter (BZB-DA-14) and 4x1 HDMI switcher (BZB-SW-41A).

Our HDMI splitter and switcher are both lightweight, compact units. They are capable of video resolutions up to 4K2K@60Hz @ 18Gbps with a chroma sampling of 4:4:4. Our units are also HDCP 2.2 compliant and have HDMI 2.0b ports. Let's take a closer look at our HDMI splitter and switcher solutions. 

BZB-DA-14 | 1x4 HDMI Splitter

BZB-SW-41A | 4x1 HDMI Switcher

The BZB-DA-14 is our 1x4 HDMI splitter that can send the signal of one source device to four TVs. It provides high-performance audio and video output with HDMI cables to the tune of 4K2K@60Hz 4:4:4 and is capable of receiving and transmitting 18Gbps without any loss of data. It supports smart EDID control, 3D frame sequential video format up to 4K2K@30Hz, and high-resolution VESA mode video format up to QSXGA@60Hz. Our HDMI splitter is HDCP 2.2 compliant and has HDMI 2.0b ports. The BZB-DA-14 passes audio formats for LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio.

As we switch gears (pun intended), the BZB-SW-41A is our 4x1 HDMI switcher is capable of connecting four source devices to one TV and switching between all the sources. Since many TVs only have a few HDMI ports, this is great for connecting all your devices to your TV without having to constantly plug and unplug devices.

The BZB-SW-41A is an even more compact unit supporting 4K@60Hz including 10-bits HDR (High Dynamic Range) pass-through while supporting HDCP, 3D, and CEC bypass along with built-in timing. Our HDMI switcher is capable of extracting HDMI sound from the L/R 3.5 analog sound output without any loss of quality by utilizing LCPM, an uncompressed audio format. You can switch between the four source devices with either the front panel button or remote control.
