The Must Have Tool BZBGEAR Showcased at InfoComm 2022
The contents of a person’s toolkit say a lot about them. At this year’s InfoComm event, BZBGEAR highlighted one of the most important tools every tech professional will need in their toolkit.
The BG-AVTPG-4K HDMI 2.0 Test Pattern Generator and Analyzer is an easy-to-use tool used to test signals and fix problems on site. This unit is ideal for projects such as home theater installations, security system maintenance/installation and commercial A/V installation. The BG-AVTPG-4K is fit for; audio/video technicians, professional A/V integrators, security professionals or those who are simply hard at work on A/V related home projects.
The BG-AVTPG-4K HDMI 2.0 Test Pattern Generator and Analyzer comes with a versatile array of functions and features. Control functions for this unit include compatibility with any USB mouse, an easy-to-use touchscreen and ethernet connection. With the ethernet connection, the device can be placed remotely and controlled via IP commands. Other key surface level specs include a 4.3 touch panel and a battery powered for portability. The battery is designed to charge within 2 hours and can last up to 6 hours without use. With that battery life, users will not have to worry about having to recharge on the job.
Now it is time to discuss some of the more technical specs on this unit. The BG-AVTPG-4K HDMI 2.0 Test Pattern Generator and Analyzer can send and receive HDMI signals up to 4096 x 2160 4:4:4. This device makes it easy and simple to test and verify the functionality of AV cabling and equipment. The BG-AVTPG-4K also comes with an Embedded LINUX KERNAL system with limitless extension. In simple terms, the LINUX KERNAL is the bridge of communication between the user applications and the underlying hardware in the device. Also, a 4:2:0 16-bit HDR pattern generator that effectively generates user defined patterns of digital logic high/low signals or pulses being produced in the cables being tested. Finally, this unit features a multi-channel audio tone generator and an EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) reader. The EDID reader is a metadata format for a display device to describe its capabilities to a video source. As for the multi-channel audio tone generator, this feature is intended for measuring and adjusting parameters of audio equipment.
Overall, this is a handy tool perfectly crafted for tech professionals and hard workers looking to ensure that their audio and video setups are working effectively. Also built to last, this tool is housed in a metal enclosure and accompanied with shock resistant rubbered edges.
