Wall Plate Extenders
Overview
An audio-visual (AV) wall plate extender kit functions as both an HDMI/DP extender over CAT and a wall plate for cleaner integration. This kit includes a transmitter and a receiver. The wall plate component acts as the transmitter, connecting with source devices such as HDMI or DP/USB-C inputs.
The receiver, typically linked to the display via HDMI, receives the signal. The HDMI/DP signal entering the transmitter is converted into an Ethernet signal and then extended to the receiver. At the receiver end, the signal is transmitted to a display. The signal can be switched using front panel buttons and IR.
